Papua New Guinea Venn Diagram!
Walht:
- Analyse information from visual images and use inference skills to build an understanding.
- Compare and contrast information to write a synthesis.
After analysing the poster image above, each member of our team responded to the questions or statements on the poster. These were recorded on ‘post it’ notes.
The task involved comparing and contrasting similarities and differences.
Synthesis:
The lives of the rural people in Papua New Guinea are very different to our lives today, they are barely surviving and they are struggling without the use of electricity. We live in neighbourhoods and aren’t isolated from others but they are however living under harsh conditions away from civilisation. They live rural lives with no internet and a lack of clothes. Modern houses and advanced technology has guided us to live a normal and ordinary life and afford food. Although we don’t share many similarities, we both do have food to eat and a roof over our heads. We both work to survive and we both can at least afford clothes to wear.
Hi Room 8,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Katelyn and I am a year 7 student from St Pius X catholic school.
I liked how you used a Venn diagram to record the similarities and differences between the rural people of Papua New Guinea and our own experiences. I have also been using a Venn diagram to compare and contrast my work about the early church and the church now. Maybe next time you could use a more clearer picture for your post.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the feedback! I will make sure that I will do it next time and thank you again for the positive response.
