All children should have to wear a school uniform.

In this essay I will be explaining why children should and shouldn’t wear a uniform to school.

One reason is that it represents your school. If you do a good thing or if you respect, someone they’ll know that your school is a good school and more students go there. For example, you see a child lost and you help him/her. His/her parents see your uniform and send them to your school because they know that you’re a good school. More people will recognise your school and will respect you for your school if they know which school you’re from.

My other reason is that people know which school you go to. If you have a friend and you want to go to the same school they’re going, you can look at their uniform and tell your parents. For example, person A wants to go to person B’s school but they don’t know which school they’re at. Person A looks at the uniform and tells his/her parents.

These next paragraphs will explain why I think children shouldn’t wear school uniforms.

My first reason is that it might be expensive. From what I know, the Selwyn colleges full uniform for boys (including winter and P.E), it costs over $600. For example you want to go to a school you like but the uniform costs too much money and you have to go to a cheaper school. It is not worth paying a lot of money just to buy a school uniform.

My final reason is that there are too many things to wash. If you buy a lot of uniforms, it will take too much time and money to wash. For example, all of your uniforms are dirty and you take a lot of time washing each pair and waste a lot of water and a lot of time drying.

This concludes my essay. I think that children should wear school uniforms because it represents the school and more people go to school if it’s good.

A fantastic experience

  • who         what         where                                     when
family                circus       parking of asb stadium       saturday

cousins

On Friday 4th of July, the last day of term 2 my family, cousins and me went to a circus just outside on the carpark near the ASB stadium.  It was around 6.00 that the circus began and the seats were filled. Smoke filled the stage but then the lights went out. People stood in silence thinking there was no power. "there's no power" one shouted. Then just as someone from the crowd was about to talk..."BANG!" The lights turned on and fireworks flew everywhere but didn't hurt anyone.

On the stage there were two men with a suitcase lying on the ground. One was really short and the other was tall. They never talked but it looked like they were trying to lift the suitcase. Both couldn't lift it, so they chose a little girl from the audience to try and lift it. She came to the case and picked it up  as if it were as light as tissue.

Both of them stared at each other amazed then they handed her a 7 inch lolli-pop that magically appeared from out of their pockets. After sending the girl away a girl barged out on stage with a box. Both of the men placed her inside closed the box and stood there (fake) crying. They then pulled out ten swords and stuck all of them into the box one by one until. Sometime after, they opened the box and took her out and she came out unharmed.

The audience were clapping loud and ready. It was the last act and the audience were wanting more. Then unexpectedly lights turned off then on magically. There was a man standing on a tower holding steady. What he was going to do was fearlessly going to get lots of chairs and stack them carefully one by one in top of each other.  After building this tower, he then climbed to the top and stood there. The way he was risking his life was bloodcurdling. My cousin counted a total of 28 chairs each being approximately 1 metre in height. One by one His stacking continued until he  amazingly stood on 30 chairs.

Their he was standing in the air until suddenly his grip went wobbling, the audience screaming, shouting, covering their mouths watching in fear, his feet had nothing to stand on and he fell like a drop of rain. He was falling fast but the distance of him and the ground gave the other clowns enough time to run out and catch him. The crowd stood with silence then gave a big clap. The clowns took a bow waved and walked to the backstage.

It was a good night. I was tired so I went to bed.

The Zoo - by Destiny Reigh

I thought Tuesday was going to be another average day but instead we went to the zoo. After hopping off the motorway and turning onto the road the zoo was on, we couldn’t find a parking until what seemed like a whole day. We got a good parking spot, right across the road. As fate would have it these holidays, it had been raining and fortunately today was one of the first sunny days. However, despite the sun, it was still chilly.

After we paid and walked through the entrance, a worker asked if we wanted to take a free photo.  It really turned out to be a trick question - a gimmick!  Oh yes we got free photos taken but then, can you believe it, we had to buy it! Anyway, off we went to explore..

First we went to see the water dragons. They looked like lizards with wings and scaly skin, but then we got bored because they didn’t move a muscle. Next we went to see the red panda but despite closely scanning the entire setting, but we couldn’t find it.  After approximately two minutes we were about to give up when a rustling noise alerted us and at that point we spotted it high up in the tree.  The giant saucer  eyes of the Panda looked down at us, the kind of stare that you can feel when you walk away. Next we went to see the meerkats. The design for viewing these interesting creatures was formed by concrete tunnels where people were able to pop their heads up and get a closer look of the meerkats in their natural habitat - or at least one that had been constructed to represent that.  Seeing them munch away at the nibbles they found, was enough to remind us that  we had not eaten lunch.  Some hot chips, sandwiches and some treats soon provided us with the energy needed to continue our zoo adventure.

After lunch we went back to the entry and followed the path leading off in the opposite direction to the one we had already been. It was very different.  One foot in front of the other, with both excitement and some hesitance, we went to see the wild animals, like lions, giraffes, hippos and more. Exploring and looking at all the wild animals was like being in the wilderness. The giraffes were really tall, they ate green leaves from a towering tree. The lions lazed about like someone sun bathing in the sun this was certainly not like the tigers we saw, they were in walking around like they were guarding a chamber of gold. Entering the elephant house, I was a bit disappointed to find the enclosure empty, we couldn’t spot any elephants but we saw it come out to take it’s daily exercise. My dad bought us some ice creams to watch the show. I got plain chocolate, my favourite.

We visited the rest of the animals. After visiting the kiwi’s, we met with the elephant who was going for it’s walk. Everyone took photos while it stopped to eat. A few other animals we saw were tortoises and alligators. The last thing we went to see were the spiders. There were two big ones and I couldn’t imagine what would happen if they got out of their glass cases. We took my little brother to the park and then we were off. My dad decided to buy the photo of us.

My science investigation.

image.jpg
This is my oil spill experiment.

I put water and oil in a glass, initially I tried to stir it up and basically it will mixed together. But when you stop stirring it, you will get noticed that the oil will leave partially up of the water and that is the reason why marine animals die since oil from the tankers are thicker than the seawater.

My best holiday yet!

On Tuesday 8th July 2014 my dad took my brother Julio and I to my friend Miguel’s house to stay there until he finished work that day. We were riding in his new car which is a ‘‘Ford Territory’’ that he bought from a car shop near our house.

First of all my dad told us to hop off the car so he wouldn’t be late. When we arrived at Miguel’s no one was outside so we decided to go near their house and knock. But before we could knock we saw our uncle, he was going to work. I immediately went up to him and grabbed his hand and placed it on my forehead (this is  a sign of respect in the Philippines that is done  to every elder or adult you meet). Afterwards we went in and watched television. The show was ‘‘Kung Fu Panda’’ so we decided to go to his room after the show. ‘‘C’mon Miguel lets go to your room already!’’ I suggested. Before we could go he told me ‘‘Let’s play Xbox when we’re finished playing with the Lego!’’ Then the three of us went to his room to do some stuff.

Miguel and Julio were playing with the Lego at the far end of the bed. Then I went over to them and noticed that they both made cars. After that, we ran out the door like a darting cheetah closing the door in the process. We ran to the lounge and started playing on the Xbox.

I got my Xbox controller, while Miguel was putting the disc into the machine. Then we opened up a world that Miguel plays the most on then I connected my controller so that we would play together.Miguel’s baby brother came to the living room and watched us play. Julio on the other hand was playing on the Ipad which he’d asked Miguel if he could use ‘‘The three of you should have lunch now!’’ Miguel’s mum Melanie told us. So we got up, paused the game and went to the table.

We first prayed and blessed the food then started getting our lunch. I then remembered that we also had some food in the bag my mum prepared for us to eat there. So I told Julio to get the food out from the bag and place it on the table. Then Julio got up and did what I told him to minutes earlier. Later on, we finished and put our plates in the sink for us to clean.

After lunch we went back to the living room to rest for a few minutes.Soon we just watched some youtube videos from our favourite youtubers, then after that we continued playing our game but in a new world. This time Julio was on the Xbox while I was on the Ipad.

At around six ‘o'clock my mum picked us up just before we finished another video of our favourite youtuber. My mum told my brother and I to say goodbye and get to the car which was her new car as well a ‘‘Mazda Verisa‘’ so we drove off and went home.

This was the best holiday of my life yet.

Sleep Over

                             sleepover

COME ON COME ON  we need to go to the pool before my mum tells me to stay home and do the dishes.

On Saturday Darrell,Destiny and I want to the pools because it was  so so hot that we could not stay in the the sun for a very long time. When we got to the pools we change and then we went on the hyhdraslide before we went into the cold pool.

In the out pool it was so so cold  so we had run in so that we  are not cold. we had lots of fun at the outside pool. Then we went on the slide more than 10 time it was fun but when I went on the last time it felt like I was going to faint.

After we went on the slide we went on the diving board . “Come on Soana you can do it”.  “NO WAY I AM GOING ON THERE I AM SO SO SCARED I HAVE NOT BEEN ON  THERE BEFORE. Just came Soana you can do it you can go on the small one first and then you can do the big one next ok.

READY, SET GO CANNONBALL! I did it  I did it  I can do it now let go on it again and again and AGAIN until we go to Destiny house to have a sleepover.

I had the best time ever I can’t wait to summer  so that I can to Destiny house again and on the diving board.

A Sleep-over to Remember

A Sleep-over to Remember

It all began on Wednesday morning when my friend was to pick me up from my house. I was so excited I couldn’t wait to go.

When my friend had picked me up, he showed me around his new house- new as he only just recently moved into it. It was amazing because there was lots of room inside his house to fit in heaps of things. I was amazed. It was very obvious that the size and space of the house was a key reason as to why they had moved there.

Once my friend had shown me around, we watched some videos on his iPad and we played some two player games on his PS3. The videos we had watched were really funny and later on we played his PS3 games. It seemed like we’d  played for a few minutes but it was hours and we forgot about the time as we played.

Later on,  after we played some video games, my friend, his little brother and I went down to the dairy to buy something to eat. We had lots of money to spend so we bought what we had wanted. After we bought our food we sat down on a nearby bench and ate it and returned later on.

The Next day my friends mum had taken me and my friend back to my house. I had lots of fun when I was at his place and  there was never a dull moment.

Marshmallow challenge

Mrs Dines had prepared a challenge for us all, a marshmallow challenge. We got into our kidpreneur groups and waited for the timer to start. I was with Asia, Carlos, Benjamin and Jarrod. The challenge was to see who could build the most highest tower out of spaghetti sticks with the help of tape and string and the marshmallow was to be placed on top. We all wanted to make the highest tower but the thing was, it had to be stable and stay in place. The timer was pressed and it was game on.

We were all shouting and we didn’t know how we could make it stand. At first my group tried to make it as tall as possible by making it stand up straight and adding more sticks by taping them together. That didn’t work so we tried another way. We decided to make a tripod and that worked much better. The only thing holding us back was because of a person in our group, he was messing around. It was nearly time up and we kept adding more sticks until we thought it was tall enough. But when we let it go it collapsed.

The time was up and we didn’t know what else to do but it was worth a try. The winners were the group that were making cards, the second group was the people making broaches and loom bands and third place was the group making hair accessories. The group making photo frames would have come first but their one didn’t turn out either, it stood for a few seconds then it collapsed. We all tried our very best and were all rewarded with a marshmallow. It was a challenging challenge.

Children should be allowed to drive a car?

In this essay I will prove and explain why children should and should not drive any vehicles. Down below are three paragraphs explaining why children should be allowed to drive any vehicles.

The child wouldn't want to be in the same car with their family. His/Her family is going for a trip but then he/she would be annoyed because of his/her family. For example. Baby sister could vomit all over the car, than you would feel disgusted.

Children can learn to shoot and drive in a young age to defend themselves. Some children already know how to shoot because of Lazer -tag and paint ball, so that is 50% good. They could combined driving and shooting. This might sound bazaar. But if boys or girls go into the special force they could catch an enemy in a different vehicle. It is best to defend yourself while driving.

Imagine an invasion? You could escape faster while driving than walking. Imagine if aliens or other people are taking over your country, you can drive away than walking away. If you had a decision to escape would you run? Or drive?

The next three paragraphs will include ‘Why children should not be allowed to drive any vehicles’.

It is a bad thing for children to drive cars because  they could get arrested by the police. The child driving could do something stupid and get caught by the police, for example going on a red light. It is for the best that children should not be able to drive because they could go to jail.

Some children don’t have enough muscle to turn the steering wheel. In some areas you have to make a full turn. I don’t think children can control the force of the wheel because most of the time the wheel will go out of control. Children aren't grown up yet... to drive any vehicles.

Driving a car is cool...but it might become to cool. Children could get violent while driving a vehicle and run people over. For example. A child could see his enemy and run him or her over. We need to keep away children from driving so they wouldn't commit any harm or damage to anyone.

This piece of writing concludes my essay. I have explained and discussed the reasons why children should and should not drive any vehicles. I do not confirm children to be driving any advanced vehicles because they will commit harm to human beings and to themselves. Plus they would be the one to be blame for murder in a very young age.

Marshmallow Challenge

Today In maths Mrs Dines gave us an activity called the Marshmallow challenge. The aim of the challenge was to create a long and stable tower using 20 spaghetti sticks, 1 1m length string, 1 marshmallow, 1 1m masking tape and a pair of scissors in only 18 mins. You have to use the materials given and not found objects and when you're done you have to stick the marshmallow in top. Mrs Dines put us in our kidpreneur groups for the challenge. She then gave us 3 mins to discuss and plan.

5,4,3,2,1. The 3 mins were over and Mrs Dines quickly started the countdown. We pushed our chairs out of the way, grabbed the sticks and the tape and stuck them together. We made three long sticks and attached them to form a triangle. When we were done Agnes carefully stuck the marshmallow on top but sadly it fell. We looked around and saw the other teams thinking first. We then realised we were rushing. We took the sticks apart and started again.

When We took the sticks apart Agnes and Dehnyse came up with the idea to make a pyramid shape to support the three sticks making the triangle. As the 18 min went down to nearly 7 min I grabbed the tape carelessly, ripped it and stuck it to the sides to keep it strong. It was going to the last minute. Agnes told me to hold the top so she could use the string to tie the top. Kolio,Agnes,Dehnyse and I stepped away from the tower and it was STANDING!

Agnes and Dehnyse were shouting and shaking hands so were me and Kolio But we were celebrating too soon. Somehow the sound waves created by our celebrating caused the tower to collapse. All the other teams laughed and carried on. The time finished and everyone stepped away from the tower. Mrs dines Then came around measured just two teams towers because the other groups towers fell.

In the end Johns team won.Although only the winners got marshmallow Mrs Dines was kind to give us some too.

Marshmallow challenge

My recount is about Marshmallow Challenge
we was work as group and we also discussion
about how do we  what and how we going  to do
our Marshmallow Challenge do we have to finish our
spaghetti or tape or string and when we do the
marshmallow challenge we do and think what things
a going to finish first and then we finish our tape and after
we didn’t finish our spaghetti.

After that we make our marshmallow tall and but
we didn’t make our spaghetti at the top we put our
marshmallow at the top because we not allowed to
use our desk or hand to it and we not allowed to put
marshmallow down the bottom we have to put at the
top and also we do it like a wire that bowl that I look
about our marshmallow challenge.

When we live our marshmallow it was stand after we
move backfired and Vine was landed on desk so the
desk shake because it was Vine fault so after the time was
nearly finish so have no idea how we going to do our
marshmallow challenge because we finish our tape so we
use the string so the marshmallow stand up straight again
and we told Vine to move back that the desk don’t shaking
again.

So we all move back that the desk don’t shake again so
that our marshmallow not fallen down again because we
don’t have time again to fix our marshmallow challenge
and when the time finish our marshmallow didn’t fallen
down and when our teacher come and check our marshmallow
challenge it was 51 high so we a second winner.

The marshmallow challenge we was like really cool
because we like working with a group that the end

of marshmallow challenge.

The rain and hail.

“Goodnight everyone”, I said as I made my way to bed. It was raining really hard and there was hail. The hailstones were pattering against our window and it made it hard to get to sleep. I thought I’d skip through channels on T.V and see what was on. After about half an hour, I finally drifted off to sleep.

I awoke with a start because I could feel wet drips on my head. There was pitch black around me and it was cold. As I hopped off the uncomfortable mattress, I could see nothing but I managed to escape the empty room without falling. I carefully went down the stairs. There were leaks in the roof and it was raining really hard. There was something weird about the rain but I couldn't quite figure it out. Maybe that was the reason no one was around. I was outside and it was dark, but I quickly went into the big apartment because it was pouring down. I felt dizzy, a hailstone must have knocked me unconscious. I could just see a figure of ice the size of a tennis ball.

I woke up in a much more different place. This place was a bit cosier, with a fireplace and more light. I could still hear the pattering of raindrops outside. ‘Why was it always raining’, I thought to myself. There was still no sign of anyone and I wondered why I was here. There was dripping in the bathroom. At first I was scared but then I just remembered that it was raining. I went to the door and finally saw a light, it must have been a car. The light got really bright, my eyes felt like they were burning. Suddenly, it all stopped and I woke up.

It was all a dream. It was pouring with rain outside and my head was a little sore. I must have hit it on the wall, maybe that was why a big hailstone had knocked me unconscious in my dream. And my sister had turned the light on and it was shining bright on my face. It was time to get read for school ‘What a dream’, I thought to myself. It felt real and everything that had happened in real life was put into a dream. Hmm weird!

Marshmallow Challenge

In this essay I will explain why children should and should not wear school uniforms. There are three reasons for and against the proposition.

They could represent their school. If children wear school uniforms that means that they are proud to go to that school. An example for this is that if children wear school uniforms that means that they are proud of what school they come from and they don’t care if other schools don’t have any uniform. This is a great idea because children wouldn’t worry about getting up in the morning and looking for clothes like other schools do.

If children go on school trips they’ll get lost if they don’t have a uniform. Children can get lost if they wear different clothes but if you wear uniform you won’t get  lost because the teacher know’s who you are and which school you go to. For example, Sarah went for a school trip and she got lost, she was very lucky because her teacher found her straight away just by looking at her uniform. Perfect idea because you don’t have to cry when you get lost you can just go find your teacher or the teacher could just come and find you.

In the next three paragraphs I will explain why children should not be allowed to wear uniforms.

Uniforms are just ugly. If you're walking in your school uniform you might see some people wearing different clothes and you might want to wear different clothes to school as well. The example is that if your just walking and you see other people wearing better and different clothes from you, they're just making you jealous. This is a horrible idea because you will feel bad.

Your mum will have to wash your clothes everyday. Say you came back from school took off your clothes and threw them in the dirty clothes pile. Your mum will have to spend hours washing, drying and folding them. A brilliant example is that if you just came back from school and you threw your clothes in the dirty pile your mum will get no free time if you just keep wearing different clothes every single day. This is a no,no because you're just going to have no time with your mum because she’s too busy washing your clothes.

This concludes my essay.  I have discussed the reasons why children should and should not wear school uniform. I do not believe children should wear school uniform because it just makes them look like a fool.

Marshmallow Challenge

The Marshmallow Challenge

One marshmallow, 20 Spaghetti sticks and 1 meter of masking tape, What do you do?
Wednesday  3 September room 8 was into a special surprise. We were going to do a Marshmallow Challenge. All you get is 1 Marshmallow, 20 pieces of spaghetti sticks  and 1 meter of Masking tape.

First we went for a little walk. After we came back we heard the news and got into our Kidpreneur groups. All I heard were some of my classmates going “No way”  “What are we going to do?”
Our teacher,  Mrs Dines went around taking videos and pictures I felt so famous.

Each group had only 3 minutes to plan what we were doing,
“We should do a Eiffel tower” said Darrelle
“I don’t think we should”
“Why not?”
“I think John’s doing the Eiffel tower”
“Okay time's up”
When we heard Mrs Dines tell us the time she pressed start and all the groups started  screaming with both excitement and nervousness.
I was thinking so hard until a imaginary light bulb popped on the top of
my head.“Hey why don’t we make a pyramid but make a tower on the pointy part.“Wow okay let's start we’ve only got 17 minutes” said Avishek. We worked hard and hard until we heard “Ding”
The time was up and we had to let go of our structure. When we had let it go it fell and so we came 3rd. This was a frustrating challenge but I also had a great experience with one Marshmallow, 20 Spaghetti Sticks and 1 meter of Masking tape.

Marshmallow Challenge!

Yesterday,We did the Marshmallow Challenge.Every word that is connected to the Marshmallow Challenge(picture above)

Every word is true,We started by making a tripod out of  the spaghetti sticks,Then we added the marshmallow on top...It took us some time to make it stand but it worked,It did stand! We we’re so happy about it! But we saw the other team trying to make their marshmallow tower higher,So  we started to tape spaghetti sticks to it and again,IT WORKED! The other team was trying again but they failed...So at the end,we won :)

How to make a Chicken sandwich.

  • Chicken Sandwich

In this writing I will be telling you how to make a chicken sandwich.

    What you would need?
    • Cooked Striped Chicken
    • Two pieces of bread (you could use any bread but I recommend to use white bread)
    • A butter knife
    • Butter
    • Mayonnaise
    • Bowl
    • Spoon
    • An adult to supervise you

    What to do:
    1. Wash and dry your hand
    2. Second you take your bowl and put in your striped chicken
    3. Next put in two or three spoons of mayonnaise and mix
    4. After mixing the mayonnaise and chicken take your butter and butter knife and spread butter over your bread ( you could cut the crust off if you want to )
    5. With your clean hands or spoon put your chicken onto one of the breads.
    6. Next put your other bread over the other piece of bread and you have finished.

Test:Take a bite of your sandwich and if it tastes nice you have succeeded.

Marshmellow Challenge

Today for Kidpreneur we did the marshmallow challenge. Our teacher gave us a link explaining about the challenge. The aim of the challenge was to build the tallest, free standing tower made from spaghetti sticks.

We had 3 minutes of planning time. The room was filled with noise. My group discussed about the design of the tower. We came up with lots of ideas. From tripods to other weird looking bases. Deciding our plan of action we waited until the planning time was up.

3...2...1...GO! Our build time has started. All five of the groups dove right in. My group started making the tripod. Once the legs were attached to the marshmallow to the spaghetti sticks Johnnie and I started trying to make it stand. Taking my hand slowly away making sure it won’t fall down. My group was the first group to make a standing tower. Seeing other groups starting to make a taller one we decided to keep add height. Doing this for 10 minutes.

The last five minutes was the most intense. We got to a point where the couldn’t hold itself up. Also one of the other groups started celebrating. They made a taller tower. I had to make a big decision. We had to make the tower a bit shorter. We got it back to a decent height that it could stand up. Just before we got our one standing the other group’s tower fell apart and broke leaving us the tallest tower.

We stood back watching the other groups try build or finish their towers. Our groups wished the time could go faster. In the end we had the tallest tower 54cm in height beating second place by 3cm. YEAH we did it.

Pet Letter

21st January 1880

Dear Lilly,
Could you please take care of my pet unicorn, Cuddles?
It’s my birthday and my family have given me free tickets to Australia and today I decided I wanted to go.
Before you even get this letter I have probably already left for my holiday.
For breakfast Cuddles’ eats fries and burgers (no cheese) and sometimes chocolate. Her lunchtime schedule involves fruit and vegetables, with a side of lemon juice. Cuddle’s likes to have grass and leaves for dinner.
She is allergic to Marshmallows and Cheese.

Cuddles sleeps on the floor in the kitchen because the smell of food delights her. Her bedtime is 7 ‘o'clock. If she stays up later than that she will go partying all night long. In a bag is a teddy bear for her to sleep with. If she doesn't get her toy, she will throw a big tantrum and rampage through the house.

Cuddles’ doesn't need much exercise because she will probably be running around already. But if you can, just throw a tennis ball around for her and it will be all good. She doesn't need to lose much weight so exercise for her doesn't matter. Cuddles’ knows a lot of tricks so if you can just practice them with her that would be great.

Yours sincerely

Darrelle :)

Children driving Cars

In this essay I will explain why children should and should not be allowed to drive. There are three reasons for and against the proposition.

Kids can go anywhere they want. If they want to go somewhere they can go without being told by their parents. For example, if they wanted to go to the movies but their parents don’t want to go they can just go by themselves. It’s a good idea because they can explore the world and become independent.

Also they can get better at driving. As the years pass and when it is time to do a full licence test they could ace it and not be worried about failing. If a company wanted someone to drive something really fragile they are most likely to pick them because he/she passed the required test. They could also save money by not spending for driving lessons and spend it on something else they need.

Kids also can get to school earlier. If they got ready earlier than their parents. He/she could drive off without wasting time waiting for their parents to getting ready. Example, if Joe had a big school project he could drive to school early and have a head start and with his parents slowing him down. It’s a good idea because they have a higher chance of getting work finish.

The next three paragraphs are about why allowing children to drive is a really bad idea.

If the boy/girl was too short they would not be able to reach the pedal or see over the steering wheel and dashboard. If the start driving without seeing over they have a higher chance of causing an accident. It is a bad idea to let kids drive because if they cannot see therefore not aware what is happening and might just crash into people.

Another important reason is that they would just crash because of stupidity. Since most kids don’t follow instructions they will end on the road not knowing what to do. He/she could be driving in the wrong side of the road and crash. At the end of the day they could kill themselves, cause havoc and make a huge traffic jam.

The last reason is they would just have a race. Not being mature enough they could taunt other people. Getting bored at driving he/she could drive next to a random person and start challenging them. People could get hurt in the process and can end up behind bars.

This concludes my essay. I have discussed the reasons why children should and should not drive. I do not believe that children should be permitted to drive because they are not mature enough to handle the responsibility to drive.
