Today we made spaghetti bolognese and this is our recipe:
Image result for spaghetti bologneseIngredients:
  • 2 medium onions, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
  • 500g lean minced beef
  • 400g can tomatoes or chopped tomatoes
  • 300ml hot beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup or puree
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper
Steps:
  1. First heat a saucepan over a medium heat with tablespoon of oil and add onion if you want and garlic. Then cook it for about 2-3 minutes. Then add beef mince and season it with salt and pepper.
  2. Secondly cook the beef until browned all over then stir in the tomato puree, add tinned tomatoes. Bring to a boil then let simmer for around 30 minutes, and add a splash of water if it is looking a bit dry.
  3. Then bring another saucepan (Large) with water and add pasta (or spaghetti), stir the pasta from sticking to the sides and the bottom of the saucepan for about 7-10 minutes.
  4. If you're wondering how to check the pasta is cooked? If the center is still a little hard then a bit of minutes.
  5. When you finish your cooking, chop the basil and stir through the bolognese sauce. Divide the spaghetti and the bolognese, add bolognese on top of the spaghetti.

ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
