Reading to Learn: Satellites

I have been learning to combine close reading skills as I read across the text to find key information and then used this to write a summary about what I have read. Next I read another article and compared and contrasted that information with the one that I read first. The I write a synthesis.

  1. Morena Room 8,
My name is Tania and I am one of the Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitators. I live in Whangarei and work with lots of teachers and students who like you, are using blogs to share their learning. I am so pleased that you have joined our Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu programme this term and will be working really hard on leaving quality blog comments on other class blogs. I hope you enjoy seeing what is happening in other classes and get ideas from them too. Keep up the great sharing. I will make sure I check out your class blog on a regular basis and hope to look at some of your individual blogs and leave comments too. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
