Spider investigation - Shivay

Spiders, Spiders, they can climb and shoot out webs!

                                       
Spiders:
Spiders are air breathing arthropods, (an arthropod is an invertebrate animal that has an exoskeleton) Spiders have eight legs and they are the largest order of arachnids. Spiders are found worldwide on every continent except for Antarctica.

Spiders do not belong to the insect family, they belong to the arachnids, other members of the arachnids family include scorpions, mite, ticks and Harvestmen. There are around 40,000 different species of spiders around the world. The Black Widow is the most poisonous spider in the world.

Spiders were the first arachnids to be discovered.
